Rootthing Amber Shaper

Story

Amber Shapers are the priestly caste of a race of plant creatures that dwell within a colossal, living plant. They are human-sized beings that have dedicated their lives to the collection and shaping of the sacred resin produced by their gargantuan home. This resin is the lifeblood of their species, and the Amber Shapers use it to craft the most prized religious artifacts of their kind. Lesser, flawed amber is used in the creation of tools and other mundane items and furniture. Revered as the spiritual and artistic elite of their plant people. They dwell within chambers carved from the colossal plant itself, adorned with layers of amber that resonate to the giant plant with a low hum. These chambers are sanctuaries of tranquility, filled with the sweet fragrance of sap and the soft murmur of the living plant. Unlike their more physically-inclined brethren, Amber Shapers rely on their magical prowess in battle, casting powerful spells to fend off threats. They are crucial to the spiritual and material well-being of their kind, and the mastery over the precious amber through their deep connection with the natural world.
